Mindgrooves are Ramonster and Audax. We both produce electronic dance music (Techno artists with ableton live).Here you can listen to some of the tunes we have produced.

Ramonster (Ramon van de Laar):
Currently living in Helmond (near Eindhoven). From around 1990 went to a lot of partys where they played techno/house/minimal/electro and was captured by the electronic dance music immediately. Then I started to collect records and later Audax and me had a DJ set every weekend in the local Club in Venray. After a few years I got into producing techno/house music. Influenced by many different producers like Josh Wink and John Acquaviva. Now really loving the Berlin techno sounds.

My first contact with electronic dance music was when I was around 10 years old. Friends of mine listened to breakdance and electric boogie music (Herby Hancock). Later on I got into contact with music from Jean-Michel Jarre and was immediately attracted to synthesizers in general! But it really hit off when I started going to house parties around 1990. After that I wanted to make music like that myself, so together with Ramonster and some other friends we started doing that. This resulted in every weekend doing DJ sets in a local club together with Ramonster and sometimes live performing electronic experimental dance music with a friend who is now known as About. In that period a track was released on vinyl (Dance Drugstore Records 002) under the alias Zoo/Fea. So in that period my musical foundation was layed down, but I love dance music in general. Nowadays I get my inspiration from chicago house and acid, (minimal) techno music from Detroit and Berlin, experimental electronic dance music from Warp (Autechre!) and Rephlex. But I also like trance a lot. Producers who inspired me the most are Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Autechre, Basic Channel and Jean-Michel Jarre. We also do remixes for other artists. We've done various techno remix projects and house remix projects already. Most of our tunes are available on beatport (total wipes label) We're both using ableton live to compose our tunes (and mix tunes).
